Voted Dwell's Top 10 Cabins of 2017

This outdated, a-frame-inspired residence was restored to its full potential by owner and lead designer, Diana Vincent and the High Camp Home team. Through bold contrast and a clever combination of both classic and contemporary elements the space was transformed into a rustic-modern mountain dream home that has been featured in Dwell Magazine and was voted one of their Top 10 Cabins of 2017.

The 2,700-square-foot space combines off-white, airy hues with rich browns and matte black, while pops of pattern, texture and intricate detail create a modernized look for this renovated retreat.

“My first project in design school was an A-frame. There will always be something cool in a weird way about that style of house, you just have to look for it.”
- Diana Vincent

“The house had a generic look — lots of golden pine, chopped-up spaces, and laminate countertops.”
- Diana Vincent

The owner of this stunning, slope-side cabin admitted to the kitchen being her favorite room in her newly remodeled mountain home.
